Letter from CEO

RISE continues to surpass all of my expectations. We continue to push the envelope in developing quality adaptive programs on a regular schedule. The slow down in the economy has affected participation to some degree but our new programs will all be on the DART Paratransit line making them more accessible with quality, cost effective transportation. The only exception will be major events held in Grapevine. I am proud to have our first salaried employee, Wayne Holt, as the new RISE Advocacy Director. I have budgeted two additional full time positions that include an Outreach and Program Director. These positions will be filled in the coming months. We continue to purchase new equipment and have major capital expenditures budgeted this year. I want to thank Randy Smith with C & R Medical back for a second year as the RISE Title Sponsor. Not only does Randy support our financial needs his group participates in all of our programs. I hope to see all of you in attendance soon at our quality adaptive sporting programs throughout the Metroplex!
