Fitness Center for People with Disabilities Now Open

With an ALL NEW Board of Directors leading the way, the Neuro Fitness Foundation opened the doors to an all new facility on September 24, 2009 and the enthusiasm at the facility has been incredible. The Neuro Fitness Foundation, lovingly referred to as “NFF” is the only such facility in the country that devotes 100 % of its being to provide a specially equipped work out facility for people with disabilities. Managed by an all volunteer staff of dedicated friends and family members of the membership, NFF is totally dependent on pledges from the membership to keep the facility in operation. : Yesterday was truly a lifetime experience for my son as well as our family. I was always afraid for my son to do certain activities especially dealing with water when either of us swim. He loved everything especially the jet ski. Thank you for showing us that there are no limits. we are looking to become a part of a team such as yours. I thank God for wonderful people as yourself.You all are truly a blessing to our family. I will see you in the near future to see whatever else my son can do.
: My son really enjoyed getting to play a couple of holes of golf today at North Texas Golf Center. It was great to see him not only enjoying swinging the golf club (and making contact with the ball!)but also being able to chat with his RISE friends.
: I really had a great time at the water sports at Lake Grapevine, especially riding in the motorboat and getting to help steer the sailboat. But I think my favorite activity was riding on the jet ski, which really surprised my mom who never thought I would ever get on a jet ski!!!
: This was truly the best day of my sons life where it was just enjoying the outdoors. WE experienced things we wanted to do & things we were afraid of & I truly appreciated it. THANKS
: I just wanted to Thank Rick and Annette Brauer for such a wonderful time last Saturday sailing in the open waters. I had such a "GREAT TIME" can't wait till the next time we get to go out. Thank You again!!!!!!
