Adaptive Information Resource
Adaptive Adventures, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is proud to provide the Adaptive Information Resource Center. This is a diverse, effective coordinated network of resources provided for children and adults with disabilities and their families.

Adaptive Water Sports
Metroplex Adaptive Water Sports (MAWS), is a division of the Southwest Wheelchair Athletic Association (SWAA), based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area of Texas. We are a non-profit, volunteer driven organization dedicated to providing opportunities for persons with all types of disabilities to experience water sports. The emphasis is on water skiing, utilizing specialized 'sit skis' to provide a safe, enjoyable skiing experience, regardless of the level of disability.

Advanced Arm Dynamics
Advanced Arm Dynamics is committed to maximizing upper-extremity patients' rehabilitation potential. We empower patients to return to work and active lifestyles by providing them with superior-fitting prostheses that meet each of their unique requirements. AMBUCS
The Grapevine Chapter of AMBUCS is comprised of businessmen from the Grapevine and surrounding communities dedicated to creating independence and opportunities for people with disabilities. AMBUCS meetings, community service projects and special events bring our members together as friends. Some of these friendships last a lifetime. AMBUCS service opportunities provide individuals with the resources to help their community when and if they are unable to do this as an individual. Working together as a group promotes fun, friendship and most of all, enpowers the community and individuals in need.

BlazeSports
Provides sports training, competitions, summer camps and other sports and recreational opportunities for youth and adults who use wheelchairs, have a visual impairment, have an amputation, or who have a neurological disability such as cerebral palsy or spina bifida. Participant ages range, depending on the program, from 6 years through adulthood.

We are a veteran owned an handicap employer Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company. We specialize in products and supplies for people with spinal cord injuries. Our company covers equipment and supply support.

Candlelight Ranch
Candlelight Ranch is a 501(c) 3 organization and partners with other non-profit organizations that serve special needs kids by providing the Ranch for outdoor retreats and campouts. The facilities can accommodate groups of up to twenty for day or weekend visits and is available from March through October.

Challenge Air for Kids and Friends
Challenge Air for Kids and Friends, a not-for-profit organization, offers motivational, inspirational and life-changing experiences to physically challenged children and youth through aviation.

Dallas All Sports
The Dallas All Sports Association is a philanthropic organization founded in 1965 by Dallas businessman Field Scovell whose love of sports was only exceeded by his love of the Dallas community. In founding DASA, Scovell envisioned a special organization, philanthropic in nature, created to award recognition and scholarship grants to deserving individuals and other deserving group.

IFDS (International Association for Disabled Sailing)
The International Sailing Federation (as it is now called) is officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee as the governing authority for sailing world-wide. As such, the ISAF is responsible for promotion of the sport internationally, managing sailing at the Olympic Games, developing the International Yacht Racing Rules and Regulations for all sailing competitions and the training of judges, umpires and other administrators, the development of the sport around the world, as well as representing sailors in all matters concerning the sport.

LSPVA
The Lone Star Chapter, Paralyzed Veterans of America, a congressionally chartered veterans service organization established on 19th of August 1989, is locally involved in the support of its members or veterans who served in the armed forces that have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction, in the North Texas area.

Magellan Sailing Center
The Magellan Sailing Center, Inc. is based in Dallas, Texas. We operate on two different lakes in the North Texas area. Our Basic Sailing courses are taught at Pier 121 marina on Lake Lewisville, just minutes from most north Metroplex locations. Our Basic Cruising courses are conducted on Lake Texoma. We conduct intermediate and advanced courses in other exciting locations such as Florida & the Florida Keys, New England, and Canada. Our courses range from Basic Keelboat Sailing to Bareboat Certification to Advanced & Offshore sailing.

Spina Bifida Association of North Texas
Spina Bifida is the most frequently occurring, permanently disabling birth defect. It affects approximately one of every 1,000 newborns in the United States. Whether you are just learning about spina bifida or have been living with it for several years, the Spina Bifida Association of North Texas is here to help. We offer education, social support and a myriad of activities year-round for children, adults and families affected by spina bifida.

Spinal Cord Injury Information Network
The UAB Model SCI System conducts research to improve upon and maintain a cost-effective comprehensive service delivery system from the moment of injury across the lifespan of persons who sustain spinal cord injury. Emphasis is on collaborative clinical research to solve the medical management and acute rehabilitation problems of individuals with SCI.

Therapy 2000

Texas Lions Camp
Texas Lions Camp is a residential camping facility for children with physical disabilities, type 1 diabetes and cancer. The Camp is located on over 500 acres in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, and is designed to introduce the "Can Do" philosophy to children dealing with special medical conditions. Children with special needs from all over the State of Texas are invited to attend one of 9 weeks, which we hope will become one of their life-long childhood memories. A week designed for fun, exploration and challenge.
