To all of those that helped, served, and cared,

I would like to personally thank all of those that participated in helping RISE Adventures accomplish our first major event, "Sailing in Style". The event was a total success. Those that attended were inspired by all of you, thank you!!!

Michael McMahon/Big D Cats - Mike worked tirelessly in helping me put this event together. He furnished his awesome yacht and crew at no charge. Mike has a tremendous heart and is one heck of a nice guy!!! Without Mike, this event would have never taken place. Everyone involved and all of the participants and their parents truly thank you Mike...

Michaels Crew - The entire crew were inspiring working with the children. They were extremely professional yet fun. They went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. I can't put into words our true feelings towards this crew...not enough space...

Matt Meadows/Sail Dallas - Matt gave an exceptional overview of sailing which added to the entire experience.

Nile/Charlies Restaurant for helping in every way he possibly could, thanks Nile.

Dallas Home Renovations and GLDS for funding the t-shirts.

Joel W. Hendrix (Peanut) - For working a full time job and still devoting time, seven days a week, to help with all facets of RISE.

Also, Robin Lee and the Spina Bifida Association for mailing out our flyer to their constituents.

And finally to the Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star Telegram, Fort Worth Star Telegram-Flower Mound, Terrell Tribune, and CBS Channel 11 News for giving us the great press for the event. We have touched a lot of lives for physically challenged individuals in a positive experience. This news coverage has brought a lot of positive returns for new groups that want to get involved and help us accomplish our very important mission. With this great coverage we are also adding new members daily that will participate in our outreach programs. Special thanks to all of you.
