Charity Fundraising Rugby Match is a Huge Success!

On Friday December 18, the Dallas Harlequins played Team RISE Adventures in a charity fund raising Quad rugby event. This year we gathered to help support two charities over the holidays. The event brought in tons of toys for Toys for Tots and some money for Triggers Toys. Both teams brought out numerous fans to support their team and these wonderful charities. Once again Team Rise dominated the scoreboard 56 – 46! ON Magazine did a photo shoot with RISE and it will soon be profiled in their magazine.This event wouldn’t have be possible without these great sponsors! C & R Medical , Lift Aids, and ON magazine

Dallas Harlequins USA Rugby final home game vs. Boston RFC

Saturday, April 25th, please arrive at noon, they want to introduce all of the disabilities in the pregame. 1:30 pm kick off.RISE is supporting our able bodied friends as fans to watch a great game of rugby.
If you are interested in coming out, admission is free, please contact Paul Gray at 469-762.5075 or pgray@riseadventures.org so we can have a head count and plenty of disability parking and seating space.

TEAM RISE versus Dallas Harlequins Recap

Friday Evening, April 10th the TEAM RISE Quad Rugby team soundly defeated the Dallas Harlequins Able Bodied USA Rugby Team before a packed gym of enthusiastic fans! The score wasn’t the story on this fun night. Both team’s player’s competitiveness and camaraderie was a true reflection of the evening.TEAM RISE salutes the Dallas Harlequins as a truly nice bunch of very talented tough guys. Their fans showed up in force. Our hats are off to TEAM RISE Quad Rugby for putting on a show that will be remembered for a very long time. Are hats are also off to the Dallas Harlequins, a great organization that RISE will continue to work with on many endeavors. This was the first annual event and the tradition is just getting started. Irving Community Television Network filmed the event and will show on local cable in May.

Come join in the excitement and watch the USA Rugby League Harlequins in quad rugby chairs for the first time! This will be a short scrimmage to see how our tough guys and gals match up with these very tough guys. They have shown interest in adopting our future team as their sister club. : Yesterday was truly a lifetime experience for my son as well as our family. I was always afraid for my son to do certain activities especially dealing with water when either of us swim. He loved everything especially the jet ski. Thank you for showing us that there are no limits. we are looking to become a part of a team such as yours. I thank God for wonderful people as yourself.You all are truly a blessing to our family. I will see you in the near future to see whatever else my son can do.
: My son really enjoyed getting to play a couple of holes of golf today at North Texas Golf Center. It was great to see him not only enjoying swinging the golf club (and making contact with the ball!)but also being able to chat with his RISE friends.
: I really had a great time at the water sports at Lake Grapevine, especially riding in the motorboat and getting to help steer the sailboat. But I think my favorite activity was riding on the jet ski, which really surprised my mom who never thought I would ever get on a jet ski!!!
: This was truly the best day of my sons life where it was just enjoying the outdoors. WE experienced things we wanted to do & things we were afraid of & I truly appreciated it. THANKS
: I just wanted to Thank Rick and Annette Brauer for such a wonderful time last Saturday sailing in the open waters. I had such a "GREAT TIME" can't wait till the next time we get to go out. Thank You again!!!!!!
